In the Twilight movies, Peter Facinelli plays Carlisle Cullen. He is Esme Cullen's husband, and he is also the adoptive father of all of the Cullen children. Carlisle is different from the rest of the vampires because he spent 300 years working on holding back his temptations. He does not crave human blood any longer. Carlisle is also a doctor, and he is there to help any of the Cullen children if they need him. When Carlisle was first transformed into a vampire, he did not want to feed on humans, and this is why he has worked so hard on getting rid of his temptations.

Alice Cullen is one of the main characters in the Twilight movies and she is played by Ashley Greene. She is Jasper's wife in the movie, and she is the adopted daughter of the Cullen family. Of course, Alice has a special ability because she is a vampire. She has the power to see into the future; however, she is only able to see the future once a final decision has been made. She loves Bella Swan like a sister, and she is an important part of each of the Twilight movies. Her special abilities help to keep Bella and the rest of the Cullen family safe.

Esme Cullen is played by Elizabeth Reaser in the Twilight movies. She is Carlisle Cullen's wife and the adoptive mother of the Cullen children. Most of the other vampires have a special power, but Esme does not. Instead, she has the ability to love. Carlisle transformed Esme into a vampire when she had tried to kill herself by jumping off of a cliff. She was supposedly dead, but Carlisle brought her back. She attempted to kill herself because her previous husband was abusive and their baby that she had died soon after he was born. Esme even loves Bella as if she was her own daughter.

Jacob Black is played by Taylor Lautner in the Twilight movies. This is one of the main characters in these movies. Jacob is Bella Swan's best friend, and he is a werewolf. Jacob develops a crush on Bella Swan, but she is in love with Edward Cullen. Bella and Jacob spent a lot of time together when she and Edward broke up for a short time, but Jacob came to the realization that Bella was not his soul mate. Instead, his soul mate was Bella and Edward's daughter Renesmee. Bella used Jacob to learn more about the vampires and the Cullen family.

Rosalie Hale is the wife of Emmett Cullen. She is another one of the adopted children of the Cullen family. Carlisle was the one that transformed her into a vampire after he found her beaten and left to die in the street. In the Twilight movie, the role of Rosalie is played by Nikki Reed. Rosalie has never feed on a human because she appreciates human life. The entire Cullen family feeds on animals instead of humans. She is upset because since she is a vampire, she will never be able to have children of her own. She would be willing to give up her vampire life in order to be a human again.

Emmett Cullen is one of the adoptive sons of the Cullen family. In the Twilight movie, he is played by Kellan Lutz. Emmet was transformed into a vampire by Rosalie Hale, who became his wife. He was attacked by a bear, and instead of leaving him to die, she transformed him into a vampire. He has an intimidating appearance; however, Emmett is known as the joker of the Cullen family. He spends a lot of time with Edward, his brother, and they seem to have the strongest bond among all of the Cullen children. In the beginning, Emmett did not like Bella, but eventually all of that changed.

Jasper Hale is Alice Cullen's husband in the Twilight movies. This role is played by Jackson Rathbone. Jasper has the keen ability to sense and alter the emotions of the people that are around him. He was originally turned into a vampire in order to assist in taking over the Monterrey territory. Jasper's job was to train young vampires, and then kill them when they were not able to be used any longer. Eventually, he decided that this was not the right way of life for him because he could feel the emotions of the humans that he fed on. He met Alice and quickly became a member of the Cullen family.

Renesmee Cullen is the daughter of Bella Swan and Edward Cullen. In the Twilight movie, this role is played by Mackenzie Foy. Soon after she is born, she is imprinted on by Jacob Black, who is a vampire. This means that they are soul mates. Jacob starts out acting as a big brother to Renesmee. Since she is the child of a human and a vampire, she can survive on either blood or human food, but she prefers blood. She can transmit thoughts to people by touching them, which is the opposite of the ability that her mother has. She also has the ability to penetrate mental shields.
